Nigeria U-17 women’s national team, the Flamingoes, were on Monday drawn against Brazil, England and Korea DPR in Group C of the 2016 FIFA Women’s U-17 World Cup to be held in Jordan.

The draw which was held at the Al-Hussein Cultural saw hosts Jordan drawn in Group A with Spain, Mexico and New Zealand.

Another African representatives Cameroon will face Germany, Venezuela and Canada in Group B.

In Group D consist of USA, Paraguay, Ghana and Japan.

The opening game of the tournament will be between New Zealand and Mexico.

The Flamingoes will be appearing in their fourth U-17 Women’s World Cup after making their debut in the maiden edition in New Zealand 2008.

And in the last three editions (Trinidad and Tobago 2010, Azerbaijan 2012, Costa Rica 2014), the Flamingoes have gotten to the quarter-finals.
