Super Eagles players took to social media platforms to express their delight after the 3-1 win against Luxembourg at the Stade Josy Barthelon Tuesday, reports.

Goal scorer Kelechi Iheanacho led the Eagles stars in commenting about Tuesday’s game against their hosts.

The Manchester City forward who scored Nigeria’s goal in the 1-0 win against Mali on Friday tweeted: “Great team performance today, let’s keep winning.”

Left back Elderson Echiejile also commented on Facebook saying the fans made it a memorable game for the team.

“Thank God for the win. Few fans but an amazing atmosphere. Thank you all for your support,” the Monaco defender wrote on his Facebook wall.

Arsenal youngster Alex Iwobi commented also on the outcome of the tune-up match.

“Good win, good team performance against Luxembourg.”

Right back Leon Balogun can’t wait to proceed on a deserved end-of-season holidays.

“Two games, two wins – good way to end a wonderful season of football 15/16! Holiday mood is on now.”

The Eagles under the guidance of caretaker coach Yusuf Salisu are using the games as preparations for the last rounds of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers which begin in October.
