West Ham United have opted not to consider extending the loan deals of Nigeria duo of Victor Moses and Emmanuel Emenike and have subsequently released the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations heros from the club.
The duo’s departure was confirmed on West Ham’s official website on Tuesday.
The Hammers also released former Arsenal midfielder Alex Song who joined the London-based club in 2014 from Barcelona.
Moses who joined West Ham from Chelsea in September 2015 made a total of 21 appearances for his club, scoring just once, against Manchester City in a 2-1 win .
Emenike was snapped in January 2016 on loan from Fenebahce until the end of the season with an option to make it permanent. However that is no longer the case.
The former Super Eagles striker’s only goals for the Hammers was in a 5-1 FA Cup win against Blackburn at Ewood Park where he scored a brace, making 13 appearances.
