Vicente del Bosque’s Spanish side made it two wins and as many clean sheets in Group D, sealing their place in the knockout stage of UEFA EURO 2016 with a 3-0 thrashing of Turkey in Nice Friday night. Spain celebrate

Alvaro Morota who had a terrible game against Czech Republic was lively in the first half though missed two clear cut chances.

The striker whose future at Juventus is unclear however scored the first goal for the defending champions in the 34th minute when Duran Nolito sent a precise lofted pass into the box. Morata rose above the defenders to meet the ball and headed it straight into the right side of the goal.

Duran Nolito doubled the lead when he got on the end of a cross to put it into the bottom left corner just three minutes after Morata’s goal.

Turkey offered the occasional foray forward but were no match for the midfield drive and energy on show led by Man-of-the-Match,  Andreas Iniesta.
