Nigerian forward, Ekigho Ehiosun, has disclosed that he will quit his Turkish side, Samsunspor, as he is being owed seven months salary.
Newslegend.com.ng was at the wedding of the forward on Saturday, June 18, at the Excellence Hotel, Ogba in Lagos which was not attended by any Nigerian international.
“It was not easy playing football without being paid for seven months.
“We the foreign players had to go on strike over non-payment of salaries last season – a move that affected the team a lot,” the former U-23 international told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“I have a lot of teams who want me this summer and I’m weighing those options.”
The former FK Gabala and Warri Wolves forward who has three international caps to his name with a goal is also itching to return to the senior national team after being overlooked for five years.
