Nigeria players have been swapping old jerseys for new ones in the transfer window and  former Nigeria junior international Micheal Olaitan is the latest as he has joined Greek Super League club Panionios on a free transfer.

The former Flying Eagles star joined the modest side after he was released by his former club Olympiakos. He signed a
one-year deal.

The 23-year-old had two loan spells last season with Dutch club FC Twente and Belgian outfit, Kortrijk.

Aside from Olympiakos, the striker has also played for two other Greek clubs Veria and Ergotelis.

Once a toast of the Greek soccer fans, Olaitan’ s career was slowed down when he slumped during a derby game between
Olympiakos and Panathinaikos.

He scored eight goals in 16 appearances for Olympiakos.
