Since the Premier League began in 1992 ww have been treated to see various sensational strikes from different individuals;from long range pilersto skillful finishes we  have seen a good lot of top quality goals.

Here DENZEL ALILIONWU digs up for the strikes he considers as the top 10 goals in the Premier League era.

1.David Beckham Vs Wimbledon 1996/1997 Season

A Young David Beckham announced himself to England with a sensational strike from approximately 52 yards(Just
within his own half) to catch the Wimbledon goalie off his line. It was a great goal with amazing technique and
heralded a right foot which would entertain crowds for years to come.
2.Dennis Bergkamp Vs Newcastle 2001/2002 Season

Dennis Bergkamp pulled off an amazing flick to round a defender and slot wonderfully pass the goalkeeper on March 2. 2002.

The goal was magnificent to say the least and the move is still known as the Bergkamp Flick till date.

3.Paolo Di Canio Vs Wimbledon 2002/2003 season
Most recently remembered as the fiery former Sunderland manager,Paolo Di Canio scored a pitch of a goal against
Wimbledon using Unorthodox technique to rifle home a Karate-like scissors kick from the edge of the box.

4. Dele Alli Vs Crystal Palace 2015/2016 season
Dele Alli fast on the rise scored a lovely goal after collecting a cross outside the area and then flicking the ball
over a crystal palace defender before unleashing a strike which nestled in the bottom corner to send the spurs fans

5.Yaya Toure Vs Arsenal 2015/ 2016 season
Yaya toure though out of favour with Pep Guardiola scored a pitch of a goal against arsenal earlier in the year with
city trailing by two goal he let off a very calm looking finish from outside the area into the top corner which had
finesse written all over it.

6. Cristiano Ronaldo Vs Portsmouth 2007/2008 season

Ronaldo a renowned dead ball specialist lit up the crowd with a wonderful
effort from way out. It wasn’t the curl and dip that delighted the fans but the raw power behind the strike.

7. Jordan Henderson Vs Chelsea 2016/2017 season
A dominant first half for Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on September 16 2016 just deserved a world class goal to cap it up; and with Liverpool 1-0 up a loose ball fell to Jordan Henderson who curled the ball with sublime dip past Thibaut Courtois into the top

8. Thierry Henry vs Man United 2000/2001 season
Receiving the ball at over 40 metres away from goal Frenchman Thierry Henry produced what will prove one of the best goals of the Premier League era thus far. Henry controlled the ball brilliantly and flicked it with authority beyond Peter Schemichel in goal for the Red Devils. His goal celebration-the “hello” sign remains indelible in the memories of Arsenal and indeed Prmier League watchers all over the world.

9.Papiss Cisse Vs Chelsea 2012/2013 season
Alan Pardew had a formidable record against Chelsea back then in charge of Newcastle and a great performance at
Stamford bridge continued the trend,with Newcastle leading 1-0 in stoppage time Papiss Cisse received a throw
outside the penalty area and let fly an audacious(maybe unintentional) Banana curve strike which left Petr Cech
stranded.The ball travelled 26 yards at 55mph with an impossible swerve and it is a goal of top quality.

10.Wayne Rooney Vs Manchester City 2011/2012 season
Wayne Rooney ever the man for the Derby gave us a moment of magic that will live in our hearts forever. Needing a
wining goal Nani’s cross deflected off Pablo Zabaleta’s back,looped in the air for what seemed like minutes before
Wayne Rooney,who had no Kompany (No pun intended) unleashed a world class bicycle kick which left Joe hart
among the thousand of fans admiring the goal as he just watched it rocket into the top corner as Rooney ran
to the corner flag to celebrate with arms outstretched which the Commentator blasted :”Wayne Rooney Out of this
