The Nigeria Football Federation NFF says the nations soccer authority is neither for or against the decision by German tactician Gernot Rohr to recall goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama to the Super Eagles.

The Coach had expressed his readiness to bring back Enyeama on the ground of his experience which according to the expatriate is needed for the Super Eagles to excel at the Russia 2018 World cup finals.

Speaking on the development , General Secretary of the NFF Dr. Mohammed Sanusi was not emphatic on the position of the leadership of the Federation on the matter even though he posited that the coach has the final say on the selection of players for the Eagles.

“The football house would not in any way interfere in Rohr’s choice of players and goalkeepers for the national team.“

“The NFF does not interfere in the choice of players or goalkeepers for the national teams,” Sanusi said. “We gave Rohr the free hand to pick whoever he feels capable of playing in the Super Eagles.

I won’t say we are in support of his decision to bring back Enyeama neither will I say we are against it. Rohr’s decision is final as far as such issue is concerned.” Dr. Mohammed Sanusi said
