The Super Eagles of Nigeria forward, Victor Moses, on Wednesday afternoon announced his retirement from International football.
The 27-years-old Chelsea Football Club of England winger, Victor Moses, last featured in the colours of the Super Eagles at the just concluded 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
To concentrate on his club football and look after his young family was atop of his reasons and paving way for the younger generation to take their chance in the Super Eagles’ shirt was also mentioned.
Victor Moses last goal for the Super Eagles was against Argentina when he converted a penalty that gave us a slim chance until we fell to a late goal that saw us got eliminated from the group stage in Russia.
Since Victor Moses made his debut for Nigeria he went on to make 37 appearances and scored 13 goals.
Victor Moses featured for Nigeria in two World Cups (Brazil 2014 and Russia 2018) and one African Cup of Nations (South Africa 2013) which he won with the Super Eagles.
