The duo of Mesut Ozil and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang could be the difference today for Arsenal as the first installment of the North London derby of the season holds at the Emirates stadium.
Nigeria’s top rated comedian and compere Gbenga Adeyinka aka ‘The First’ who is an ardent Arsenal supporter spoke with Izuchukwu Okosi on his expectations from the game which is the first North London derby for new Arsenal head coach Unai Emery.
“This will be a very difficult one to call but I believe Arsenal will nick it with a goal difference. Either 1-0, 2-1 or 3-2. I see Ozil scoring, Auba will also score,” Adeyinka told Newslegend.com.ng‘s Izuchukwu Okosi for allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Unai Emery has done an amazing job. He has stabilized the team and hopefully the club will continue be on the rise.
The comedian then explains what he feels should be the minimum requirements from the former Sevilla and PSG master tactician
“All we need for him to do this season is qualify Arsenal for the Champions League. He was great at Sevilla where he won the Europa League thrice in a row. So we need him to get us back to the Champions League either through the Premier League or Europa League.
“I hope the unbeaten run continues. We have another big one on Wednesday, Manchester United,” ‘The First concluded.
Arsenal are on an 18-match unbeaten run. Only Manchester City and Chelsea have defeated the Gunners this season.
The Arsenal versus Tottenham Hotspur game kicks off 3pm Nigerian time.
