Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka has been nominated for Arsenal’s Player of the Season according to an information from the official website of the Gunners, on Tuesday.

The Anglo Nigerian who recently expressed his dilemma over his internatioal future between Nigeria and England faces competition from club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who finished the campaign with 22 goals and German goalkeeper Bernd Leno who is currently injured.

Saka has been one of Arsenal’s standout performers this term and have been deployed in a wide range of positions from left wing role to left back.

The 18-year-old who made 38 appearances in all competitions in thr just ended season with 29 of them coming as starts had 12 assists this term.

Meanwhile Nigerian duo of Arthur Okonkwo, Folarin Balogun, Miguel Azeez, Daniel Oyegoke and Ryan Alebiosu on Tuesday resumed training with the Arsenal U-23 side ahead of next season.

However Joseph Olowu remains on loan at Cork City while James Olayinka whose loan spell had finished wasn’t pictured in training.
